On30 Ice house

Designed to be used with the Icing Platform, but can be stand-alone.

Ice had to be kept close to the Ice decks for distribution to the reefers. Often this came in (by empty reefer), but depending on location it could be cut locally and brought in by truck. The walls were thick with few windows to manage temperature.

The structure is easily bashable for other purposes which is why i offer it separately from the dock.

PLEASE NOTE: THE PHOTO SHOWS 2 ICE CHUTES. THE KIT HAS ONLY ONE, mine has a extra for a dual gauge dock.

features:-

3" x 6" footprint. 7" high to top of the lift house.

Individual clapboard applied to a poplar ply core. (I refuse to use MDF - its horrid!). this makes for a solid structure.

Lift/vent house is premium 1mm laser ply.

Windows, doors and sliding door (set at loading dock level - loading dock is part of the Icing platform)
